Coronet Elf 3" x 16"/24"/30" Coronet were originally based in Derby, England, and the Elf was their smallest machine. It was a very compact, well built lathe in the Coronet tradition, made entirely from cast iron and steel. The lathe was designed for the smaller home workshop and is shown here with the optional bowl turning attachment and with the headstock rotated through 90 degrees to take advantage of the resulting 14" diameter turning capacity.
